Kazi has been a big name in the underground since he was young. I have been a fan since his early work with NEILAWORLD. I loved his aggressive style but when I listened to his catalogue, I realized his versatility is ridiculous. He has a rare ability to make any style he tackles sound great and still original. I also admire his hustle and self-awareness. One of my favorite moments I’ve seen was on his Breativity interview when he talks about his work ethic. He talks about how you get what you work for and that he hasn’t worked hard enough yet. I respect that he knows every journey is different and requires a ton of effort to get where he wants to be. His hustle is truly in his ear. He aligns himself with the most talented people coming out of the underground (FISH, all of NEILAWORLD, BIGBABYGUCCI, babydraco and more) even living with a few of them at times. His creativity isn’t slowing down and if he consistently puts out the quality music he has been Kevin Kazi will have no limits.
