Hailing from Denver this artist has caught our attention and earned a review on EP 6 from our reaction to Chill Pill. That song is a perfect representation of his vibe as an artist. He has a lofi/arcade type style to a lot of his beats that remind me of playing the gameboy. His frequent collaborator Silo definitely helps produce that sound for him. They seem to make a lot of music together and coming up with a producer is a great way to build a signature sound and show that you are both serious about what you do. Voda Fuji is a very easy listen, his music is something you can throw on while working, studying, cooking, and most of all smoking. I don’t know much about him, but I know he loves smoking and I feel like his music is perfect for that. It’s a relaxing and nostalgic sounding Hip Hop/Pop. I believe in his ability to keep growing and find it reassuring that he already has his own sound worked out. The Starter Pack shows off all his best sides for sure and if you’re not dancing a little by the end then maybe he’s not for you.
