Armani White

I might be a little to late to tell you about this Underground Artist being that Armani White had one of the biggest Hip Hop songs of the Year “BILLIE EILISH”. I can’t scroll through Instagram without hearing it at least once. The thing is we covered him a few months before his big song and even well before it our whole crew heard his potential mainly from his most recent project What We Lost In The Fire. His ability to make songs interesting past the 3min mark consistently is impressive especially with the current status quo. Armani White’s lyrical ability is paired well with his flow and smooth delivery and is at times reminiscent of Chance The Rapper. I noticed an evolution with every project. His most recent project had more of a Trap bounce with songs like “Grateful” and “Too Many Angels” to show he still has soul. The beats were more geared toward rapping but twisted soul into each hook to remain extra catchy and replayable. The project before was a little lighter sounding having that Chance like instrumentation but his own spin and more importantly story on it. His emotional vulnerability hits you in the chest on most songs. It’s even more impressive that he’s been rapping like that for almost 8 Years. You hear in his music why he may have put the mic down for a while, but his persistence is admirable. It must be hard to have big hits every few years, be consistent and have life’s difficulties constantly get in the way but keep it pushing. If I would’ve released this article when I should’ve I’d have written “I’m certain his hard work will pay off and the world will eventually catch on”.  I’m happier to write he finally got a hit bigger than any of his yet and it’s propelled him into the mainstream. He has been ready for this moment and clearly deserves it. I think Armani Whites story will go down as one of Hip Hop’s craziest come ups. I’m excited to see how he capitalizes on it. Check out the rest of his Catalog because I know you heard “BILLE EILISH”. It’s worth your time.
