Chris Patrick

The first word that comes to mind when I think of Chris Patrick is versatile. His style is largely lyrical but his ability to do other styles is crazy. It’s rare to have such diversity in an artist. I know other artists try to do it all, but few do it well. Chris Patrick has songs like “Dreams” and “Immortal Man” that’ll touch your soul and speak on struggles and aspirations. He also has songs like “3am” that are so melodic (almost reggaeton like) about love. He even featured on Dante’ Hitchcock’s Everyday The 14th (which was a love/relationship inspired EP) showing his versatility again. His EP From The Heart, Vol2 showcases his pure lyrical abilities very well but has songs like “3am”, “Peace of Mind” and “Okay” showing us how well he can sing and create melodies. He hasn’t been making music for crazy long either so the room for growth is a little scary. His intelligence shines through every song making him one of our favorites we have ever covered. His ability to make songs about the plight of man specifically black men is what I think is going to establish a long-lasting fan base. I think he will have a long run in Hip Hop and hopefully a strong one. Check out his starter pack on our SoundCloud. Go check his music out it’s worthwhile I promise.

This was written before X-Files came out and I can have a whole new article on that. I think what I said about his growth still stands after hearing his project. The project just made it clear how talented he is and furthered my belief that he is destined for greatness.
