Hollow Bastion is just a rare human and 100% a special artist from Atlanta, GA. He is easily one of the most interesting underground artists I’ve came across in a long time. He produces, engineers, and preforms all of his songs. His style can only be described as Dream Trap a genre coined by him and his good friend JxyThePxet. His songs are filled with sounds that are nostalgic and dreamlike (even sampling and killing some kingdom hearts tracks) while his drums and bass hit like trap to create perfect beats for him to sing his own melodies over. He sings about heart break and love and raps about big titty goth girls and giving anyone who wants one a halo. I don’t really skip any songs in his catalog and find myself listening to it often. I’m very confident he will be huge one day and hopefully one day soon. His songs are made of pure emotion and the beats reflect that. He’s got something all his own and if you ever have sad boy hours, want to feel like you are floating or want to suplex that snitch that you work with. The nostalgia doesn’t end at his music he also does his own artwork… do you remember crayons? He draws and colors all his artwork in with them and I don’t know if it was out of necessity or genius, but he consistently does it well. I’ve seen crayon colored album covers and heard sounds similar to his, but he does it the best in my opinion. I have a playlist of the songs I hope to put you on but honestly just listen to all of his shit.
