Show Joe was a big name on the line up and this was his first appearance at the DMV Fest. He rocked the stage with some of my favorite tracks by him. His confidence and sense of self is apparent in his music but talking with him solidifies that as being him and not just a persona. His love for life is evident in the way he speaks. He walked us through his process of making music, him quitting football to do music and his collaborations with Nick Mira and internet money. It was awesome to get to speak with a rising star like show Joe and hope to do it again.
