tophillfreddo and Fish did it again. If this song is any indication of what the project will be like, then freddo is well on his way out of the underground. I listen to a lot of underground, but this duo is their own breed. The professionalism and quality they consistently display deserves more attention. This beat, like all of Fish’s beats, has a unique energy that freddo fits into perfectly. The wobbly droning synth that comes in and out gives the melody character, it almost sounds spooky. I love how their songs fill every space in the headphones with sound that doesn’t clash. The freddo adlibs and harmonies in the background have me singing along until I learn all the words. I also feel like freddo is firing a warning shot; letting everyone know that he has Genius level music happening. It’s only a matter of time before he does what most genius’s do (Ye)…. go crazy. Go run this up until the project dropping on Friday 10/28.
